I began martial arts at 6 years old with Master Gerald Orange of Grandmaster Peter Urbans camp in New York.
Then studied a few different arts as a kid, Judo, Aikido and Tae Kwon Do. At 18 I won the NYS kickboxing championship at Jeromes boxing gym in the Bronx.
During that time I studied with Master Ron Van Clief up until 1995.
I did some training with Jujitsu master Joe Moreira and I studied with Grandmaster Utsumi Jujitsu from Japan.
I did a year and a half Shaolin with Master Shi Yang Ming and have been boxing all my life.
