I began training in Taekwondo in 1973 under the direction of Mr. Michael Couhie, 3rd Dan, in Littleton, New Hampshire. I continue to train & teach with Grand Master Michael Couhie, 8th Dan, at this current time. Tested for 1st Dan Black Belt in 1995 by Grand Master Young Ahn Kwon and received Kukkiwon Certification. Tested in 1996 for 2nd Dan Kukkiwon. Tested in 1998 for 3rd Dan Kukkiwon. Tested in 2000 for 4th Dan Kukkiwon Black Belt. Promoted to 5th Dan Moo Duck Kwan Black Belt in 2001 by Jae Kyu Jung, President Seoul Korea.
