Sensei Hernandez has dedicated his life to the journey of Chugoku Kenpo Karate. His Martial Arts experience ranges 45 years, he started martial arts training 45 years ago (1963) in New York City. Joined the military in 1970 travel to Asia and he has studied under the following Masters;

Master Kenji Tonosake — Japan
Master Yasuzo Ameta — Japan
Master Masanobu Kina— Okinawa
He is currently President / CEO of Dragon Cloud Dojo, USA, LLC. and the Pahrump Dragon Cloud Dojo, Chief Instructor.

1977 Golden Fist Award Winner. 1977 Founded Dragon Cloud Dojo, school of Martial Arts· Grand Champion in Karate Competition 1978, 1985, 1991 & 1992. 1979 Appointed Chairperson of Unryu China Kenpo Karate California. 1980 Received Presidential Sports Award for Karate. 1990 Voted Best Official of I.M.A.C.F. 1991 Chinese Hard and Soft Black Belt Forms, I.M.A.C.F Champion Belt Winner. 1992 inducted into the I.M.A.C.F. Martial Arts Hall of Fame, 1992 Black Belt Men Sparring 35 and up I.M.A.C.F Champion Belt Winner. 1995 NBL Hall of Fame Arbitrator of the year. 1998 Nominated to World Karate Union Hall of Fame, (not inducted). 2005 AMAPA Arbitrator of the year. 2006 inducted into the Martial Arts Masters Hall of Fame, 2008 inducted into U.S.A Martial Arts Hall of Fame. Pasted (2009) United State Martial Arts Network and Karate Alliance State of Nevada Director.
