Started training at the Jhoon Rhee Institute, then became head instructor at World Champion Jeff Smith Karate, and later co-owner of 3 martial arts schools – Power Kix Karate in the Washington D.C. Metropolitan area.

Competed for many years and had the opportunity to train with many great martial artists.
