Summary of Your Martial Arts Training:
First introduced to the Martial Arts at age 10, in Jamaica, with Sensei Lloyd Dawkins. Attained (Sankyu) rank. 1968, Eastham School of Martial Arts, London, England. Godan Gladstone Ross promoted me to (Shodan), Okinawan Shorin Ryu, 1971, US Naval Base Guantanamo Bay Cuba. Continued training under Master Ramon Bodine, (Rukudan) Okinawan Shorin Ryu. (Sandan) Chinese Kenpo and (Nidan) Kodokan Judo. In 1973 Master Bodine promoted me to the rank of 2nd Deg Black Belt (Nidan), Shorin Ryu disciplin. 1st Deg Black Bely (Shodan) Kodokan Judo disciplin, and 1st Deg, Black Belt Chinese Kenpo. 1974 I had the honer of meeting Grand Master Albert Derriensberg, 8th Deg. Black Belt (Hachidan), Okinawan Shorin Ryu. 6th Deg. Black Belt Chinese Kenpo and 6th Deg. (Rukudan) Black Belt Kodokan Judo. 1977 Grand Master Darrensberg promoted me to the ranks of 3rd Deg (Sandan), Black Bely Okinawan Shorin Ryu; 2nd Deg. (Nidan) Kodokan Judo, and 2nd Deg. Black belt Chinese Kenpo. Trained with grand Master James A. Wilson in Korean Tae-Kwon-Do, and obtained the rank of 1st Deg. Black Belt under Grand Master James Wilson in 1991. August 2008 was promoted to 4th Deg Black Belt by Masters Orned (Chicken) Gabriel, Master (Sweet) Pete Salas and Reynoldo Leal of the United Karate Fedederation (UKF), San Diego, CA. Ran several Martial Arts School which includes The Bay View School of Self Defense, National City, CA. The Silver Strand Martial Arts Academy, Coronado, CA. , and The Gateway Karate School, Point Loma, CA. Currently I assist Sefu Bernie Angeles at the Angeles KaJuKenBo Martial Arts Academy, Chula Vista, CA. In the process of starting a school at my church, Cornerstone Church of San Diego, located in National City, CA

What Martial Arts Has Taught You:
Humility. Control of Self. Control of Thoughts. Awareness of self and surroundings. Control of mind equal control of body. The body is a tool that can be manipulated by the mind.
