You would have to create to lines of rule and use advance settings on the bottom to set 1 or 2

to make sure I've got this correct

under trigger:

check off when a record is created

 

under Rule:

Object- Cart Item, Field- Created By User Id, Operand- Equals, Value- type in Public Profile or Member Profile

It would be a work-flow however i would create the work-flow based on Card-Item. It would be something like this

 

Object : Cart-Item

Trigger: Record Created

Rule: Createrby = Public Profile or Member Profile

Nima, setting up a notification for when someone purchases something online, would you do that by just setting up a workflow?  I tried doing it (but don't believe anyone has purchased anything yet, so don't know if it works) and set the trigger to when a custom button is clicked and the rule is Transaction processor equals billing direct as well as transaction created date equals today.  Does this sound remotely correct or is there another way to set up notifications of online purchases.  Thanks.
