Not all email campaigns have to be sent directly from your groups already existing or created in MyOffice. You can send from a MAS selection as well!
Simply select which contacts you want to have receive your email campaign. They could be just a few names or perhaps all students under a particular category. Some examples are:
• Current Rank
• Next Exam Date (if you wish to email all students with an upcoming test)
• Source
• Any of your custom fields (frequently used as “sub-categories”)
When selecting random contacts, hold down the CTRL key while clicking to the left of each name.
When selecting a particular section, highlight the contact at the top of the group and then while holding CTRL + SHIFT click to the left of the contact at the bottom of the list. They will all be highlighted.
If you want everyone in the MAS category or “All” you can go to the Edit menu and choose “Select All Contacts”.
After your selection is highlighted go to: File < Print/Send < MyOffice Campaigns.
You may have to log in. After this simply select Email Broadcast, put together your campaign and you’ll notice that you won’t have to choose a group to send to. It will already read “Send to MAS Selection”. From here you can choose Send Now.
Done!
This is very convenient for email campaigns when you may not have the target group available in MyOffice.
