Web Lead Boxes

You all have heard of Lead boxes and at one time placed some throughout the community. The trick to these was finding the proper business to place them in to and also remember where you placed them.

We just did a Webinar where Web Lead Boxes where mentioned. By this , it is the same as the Lead boxes that are placed around the community but these are placed on other businesses websites.

You want to create cross promotions with other business. You can place a link on your website and in turn, they can place a Web lead box on there site for you. You can create your own image or use the default one that comes with the coding I will be giving you.



Follow the instructions below and if you need help, do not hesitate to contact your Account Manager at Championsway to help you.



1). First of all create a custom group in My Office and call it anything you want. Mine will be called “web lead boxes”. By naming your new group, you will be able to track how many hits you get from the web lead boxes.



2). Now go to the website module. Scroll to the bottom of the page and go to the Tools box. Here you will see a link called “Subscriber Links”



3). You will now see 4 options that you can choose from. First you will need to choose the group that you created which will be found at the bottom of the page under the html coding of the 4th option. Once you have selected your group , select the coding you would want to use.

These come with the default image but you can create your own image and hyper link it to your subscriber page.



First I will cover using the default image.

· Select the option that you want to use and copy the html coding that is highlighted in blue.

· Note if we created your site for you , you can use the coding as is.

· If we did not create the site for you, you will need to make a small adjustment to the code. See below



You need to change your domain name with www.selfservice.championsway.net

This will be found at the beginning of the code.




Eventually this is how it will look like.






Note , that the red highlighted coding is the image location. If you want to add your own image , this is where you will need to add the path of it.

For example, you will add the image into your root folder so the hyperlink code should look something like this. Ex.




So your finished product of coding that you will need to add to other websites will be>>>>



That is all you will need to email to the webmaster of the business that you have set up with cross promotions.



For those of you that did have the site created by us, all you need to do is follow the same steps as above, but you don’t need to change anything to the coding unless you want to change the default image.



The part of the coding that will need to be changed is the portion in red below Note that this is an example, you need to get your proper coding from My Office----à Website Module-----à tools box------à Subscriber Links.






Note that you might want to call your Account Manager just so they can help you set the first one up.
