Purchase incentives for Holiday retail sales. Compliments of Shuman Concepts

I am the director of operations at Melody Shuman's research and development school, On the Mat Martial Arts.
I provide monthly tips to our Shuman Concepts members and wanted to share this one with the community.

Tip of the month:
Our parents invest a lot of money in products that we sell during the holidays. With that said, we are going to try something new this year in hopes to increase our holiday product sales even more! Our idea is to offer exclusive discounts based on the total amount of money they spend.

Here’s how our discounts will work:

1.Spend $100 and get $10 off.
2.Spend $200 and get $25 off
3.Spend $300 and get $50 off
4.Spend $400 and get $75 off.
You can try any kind of discount you want. Of course the more irresistible it is, the more they will spend. The more they spend, the more you make.

Here are a few additional tips on how we are going to spread word:

1.I created a sign that list out the offers using poster board and hung it near the front desk.
2.I also have our product catalogs with order forms sitting near by.
3.I listed out the discounts in our monthly newsletter.
4.I am sending out a bi-weekly email campaign to our parents.
You can even schedule a specific day when parents can come in without their kids to place orders. A holiday shopping day is always a good idea for parents. Make sure to do it on a Saturday so that your 9-5 parents can make it. Keep in mind if a parent is already going to buy persuading them to spend a little more is the easy part!
